Pastor Robert J. Williams, the Mass Choir, the Senior Ushers and the Williams Memorial Church Family will render service at St. Stephens Metropolitan AME Zion Church, 1012 Leonard Street, High Point, NC today, at 3:00 PM. They will serve lunch at 1:30 PM.

Women of Williams remember Women ages 18 and older are asked to pay $100 and young Women ages 17 & under are asked to pay $10.  Women’s Day will climax on Sunday, March 31, 2019. This year’s Women’s Day color is GREEN! Our THEME is, “Sowing Seeds with the Expectancy of an Overflow.” Our focus scripture is Luke 6:38:  “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” This Women’s Day is about Being Faithful, Trusting the Process & Reaping our Blessing.

STOP: Souls Touched on Purpose . Pastor and the Board of Evangelism are asking each of you to pray and ask God for two names of people whom you can touch on purpose during our “Get Back to Basics Campaign”. Please be in prayer that God will put people in your path whom you can pray for and invite to Christ. Please complete the forms and turn them in at the welcome desk today. Please try to list at least one youth or young adult. Souls will be invited to worship with us on Palm Sunday, April 14, 2019.

Children’s Church is held upstairs during the 11 AM service for children ages 4-11 years old. Children’s Church needs volunteers! Please see Francine Mallory for more information.

Youth and Young Adult Sunday is every 4th Sunday of the month, during the 11 AM service. This opportunity allows the youth and young adults a chance to participate in service, builds confidence and trains them to become future leaders. Please sign up all children and young adults to participate, on the sheet in the vestibule.

The Church Anniversary Committee

  • The Church Anniversary Committee is looking for persons who have been members for 50 years at Williams Memorial. (From the date you joined until now.) Please see anyone on their committee or leave your name and number in the church office.

Black History Committee

Are you interested in exploring Black History and culture? Here’s your chance to get involved! The Black History Committee is looking for    volunteers. 

  • We will be expanding our Black History focus from just one month to observing throughout the year
  • The March Black History Theme is “Black American Contributions in Medicine”. Check the bulletin each week for more information.

The Interpretive Dancers (Young Adult & Adult) will practice on the following Saturday, March 9th at 11:30 AM. Any young adults and adults interested in joining are welcome to come.

The Announcer’s meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 6:30 PM.

Ashe Wednesday Service will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 7:00 PM.

The Choral Ensemble will celebrate their 43rd Anniversary on Sunday, March 10th, during the 11 AM Service.

St. John CME Church, 350 NW Crawford Pl., Winston-Salem, NC, Pastor, Rev. Dr. Valerie Tate Everett will have Family and Friends Day “Praise in the Pews” on Sunday, March 10, 2019.
